I had debated for months about what my blog should really be called. It started as The Howling Desert Moon and then I Howl at the Moon, because I thought that this is where I feel my thoughts would be alone and unheard, even if I put “Hear the sound” as my slogan.
One thing I know is that I just need the word “moon” to be present. Because just as it draws the sea, the night draws my sincerest and innermost thoughts from the deep into the shallows.
I decided to finally call it “The Desert Moon” when I realized my first post was looking back into what I recall as a young girl braving the world. And “hear the sound” as in hear the past whisper to you once again. Hidden, but never lost; still and always will be part of you. This is about remembering when we had lived our lives as if each day was our last and that whatever we lost today, we can always regain when we look back on yesterday. If you just hear the sound when it calls to you. At this point you have probably realized how my blog’s title and purpose is the same as a song.
The posts you will see here will mostly be about and based from my own personal experiences and thoughts.
But don’t think, this is all but sappy. I intend for this to be diverse. I will also write here movie and drama reviews even though I know I’m not the best at it. Every once in awhile I will add in some photos that I took.
